Bridget Hoffer

Bridget is co-founder of Marigold Marketing & PR and expert communication and PR strategist. She has extensive experience in delivering integrated communications, marketing, and brand programs. Since 2015, she has developed communications and brand programs for individual clients, digital start-ups and national firms, provided direction and planning for business development, expansion and launched new brands.

From 2000 to 2014, Bridget was interim/deputy, then executive director of CBC communications, marketing, and brand. Bridget was responsible for communications and marketing for CBC News, CBC Radio, cbc.ca and collaborated with Radio-Canada on national projects. During her tenure, CBC was ranked as one of Canada’s most influential brands by Ipsos. Additionally, Bridget led the re-branding of CBC and CBC News, cbc.ca, cbcnews.ca, CBC Music and the development of CBC’s ‘Canada Lives Here’ positioning. From 1996 to 2000, she was the director of CBC Radio communications.

Before joining CBC, Bridget's roles include manager of communications for the United Way of Winnipeg and communications lead for the Winnipeg Art Gallery.

Currently, she is a chairperson for the board of directors Safetynet Services in Oakville, ON.
